TN Stars Football Club have bid a farewall to their supporters in TNM Super League at Kasungu stadium with a two all draw against Karonga United on Sunday afternoon in TNM Super League.
The Kasungu outfit have finished playing at Kasungu stadium and they have remain with one away game against Blue Eagles on Wednesday this week at Nankhaka stadium before starting playing in Central Region Football Association Premier Division sponsored by Chipiku stores.
TN Stars Football Club Team Manager Chifundo Nyirenda has however, apologised to all TN Stars supporters on behalf of the management for the poor performance of the team in the 2022 tnm Super League which has dragged the team to the second-tie league.
Nyirenda depicted the journey in the league as unsuccessful for the Ngulanawambe boys but he elged all supporters to keep supporting the team in Chipiku league next year.
"It is sad that it is over for us in TNM Super League at this beautiful stadium though we have one away game against Blue Eagles.
"Everyone is sad including TNM Super league officials and as management we are apologising to all supporters for it. Everyone wants us to keep on playing in TNM Super League but it be a history that once upon a time there were TN Stars Football Club in the league," He said.
The team manager further narrated that they wants to finish playing in the league with a win against the Area 30 police side as in the first round of the league they ended unbeaten run for Blue Eagles at Kasungu stadium by single goal to nill.
"It is our wish to finish playing in the league with a win and I hope we will make it though we know it be tough game against them," He said.
If TN Stars will manage to beat Blue Eagles on Wednesday, they will finish playing in TNM Super League with 20 points but curre,ntly the team have 17 points after playing 29 games.
