Former Blantyre United Coach, Leo Mpulura could remain as the Head Coach for Silver Strikers up to next season if the results remain the same up to the end of this season.
Mpulura who replaced Macdonald Yobe was given the target of finishing in top four this season and at least winning Airtel Top 8 Cup has managed to win their last three games, taking the Club to position 6 with 48 points.
The Central Bankers beat Dedza Dynamos, Moyale Barracks and Kamuzu Barracks, performance that has instilled confidence in the board that the new technical panel can deliver.
Silver had advertised the position of the head coach and both local and international coaches showed interest to go for the post.
In an interview with Nations Sport, Silver Strikers Chief Executive Officer, Thoko Chimbali said the door is still open for the current technical panel to continue with their jobs depending on the results.
"Yes, we advertised the post, but it should be known that the current set-up’s fate is dependent on the team’s performance between now and December.
“If they do well, then, surely, we’ll stick to them.”
Silver Strikers chances of finishing in top four seems to have walked away from their hands as they have remained with only one game [Against Sable] and a win will their points hiking to 51 while Kamuzu Baracks who have played 28 games have 51 already. #WaMpira
